Current issues of journals and newspapers are on the second floor arranged alphabetically by title.
Most older issues of journals are bound into volumes, assigned call numbers, and placed in the stacks. Information about journal call numbers, dates held, and format is included in the online library catalog. Also, many journals are now available electronically.
Most newspapers are kept for three months or until replaced by microfilm.
