Substance Use Treatment Need and Receipt Among Hispanics

Reports that an annual average of 8.3% or 2.6 million Hispanics were in need of alcohol treatment in the past year and 3.4% or 1.1 million were in need of treatment for illicit drug use. Among Hispanics the need for alcohol treatment was highest among Mexicans and the need for drug treatment was highest among Puerto Ricans.
