5-4 decision by the Supreme Court that a Pakistani man cannot sue former Attorney General John Ashcroft and FBI Head Robert Mueller for his incarceration after the 9/11 attacks. Javaid Iqbal had sought redress for his arrest which he felt was based on discriminatory policies based on his religion and nationality.
