Microsoft Photo Story
I recently read about Microsoft's Photo Story and decided to give it a try with the pictures we took on our recent cruise. I have to say that I was impressed with its ease of use and the final product. Basically, you load a directory of images into the program and step through a wizard that lets you rotate images, add transitions, add music, and then package the entire thing up into a WMV file. Pretty darn slick! Not quite up to iPhoto, but pretty nice for a Windows app.
A couple of the things I don't like about this is the fact that it should have a wizard at the end that burns your show to a CD. The program also requires Windows Media Player 10...and I just don't trust Windows Media Player.
Anyway, if you don't have access to iPhoto, Micorosoft's Photo Story is pretty darn neato.
