Dreamweaver Uh-Oh
I'm in the final stages of deploying a new website for our library. I will admit up front that I am not a Dreamweaver user (I use a combination of CFEclipse and emacs). However, for a lot of reasons, we decided to deploy using Dreamweaver templates. Last night I made an update to a master template that was pointing to our online catalog, then updated everything in the site no problem.
Or so I thought...
I used CFEclipse to do the CF coding to get the proper content from the database as I normally do at the top of the file. However, when I updated the template, the code went away. Apparently there there is a directive in the template files that disallows any code outside of the editable regions. Fortunately, this only affected one page, and I was just evaluating the URL for filter parameters, so I got it back up and working quickly, but what a pain!
