Driving directions to the parking area may be obtained from a number of online sources includes Google Maps:
From the South/East: From I-64, take Exit 242A, Route 199 West (towards Williamsburg, Jamestown).
Travel approximately 5.1 miles on Route 199 to the fourth traffic light (Jamestown Road, also known as Route 5 East). Turn right onto Jamestown Road.
From the North/West: From I-64, take Exit 234, Route 199 East (Lightfoot).
Travel approximately 8 miles on Route 199 to the second traffic light (Jamestown Road, also known as Route 5 East). Turn left onto Jamestown Road.
Then, On Jamestown Road: go past the traffic light in front of Walsingham Academy on the right and past the small lake on the left.
The road marking narrows to one traffic lane and the road then begins to run slightly uphill.
Turn left at the first street after coming up the small incline. The street (Ukrop Way -- formerly Campus Drive) is at the painted crosswalk across Jamestown Road. This puts you on the William and Mary campus.
Travel approximately 0.3 miles to the stop sign. Stop, then travel straight. Swem Library is the first building on the right.
Weekdays and Weeknights: Monday 7:30 a.m. through Friday 5:00 p.m. (includes all weeknights except Fridays)

Visitors with parking permits may park in Faculty/Staff parking spaces that are marked "Faculty and Staff Parking Only" [but not in spaces marked "Reserved for Faculty and Staff at All Times"].

Handicapped Parking Spaces
A few handicapped parking spaces are available in front of Phi Beta Kappa Hall (off of Jamestown Road), behind Small Hall (the building on the right that you reach just before Swem Library, when following the driving directions above), and behind the library.
