- Annual Report on International Religious Freedom
Reports on the status of religious freedom in each country. Also details government policies which violate religious beliefs or the practice of religion by individuals or groups. Issued in September by the State Department.
Annual Report of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom
Issued annually on May 1st by an advisory commission, the report investigates violations of religious freedom as reported in the State Department's Annual Report on International Religious Freedom and offers policy recommendations to the U.S. Congress and executive branch. Also critiques the State Department's efforts to promote international religious freedom.

Unequal Justice: African Americans in the Virginia Criminal Justice System
Report of the Virginia Advisory Committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights on allegations of racial discrimination, especially in the Hampton/Newport News Peninsula area. Offers findings and recommendations which focus on complaints of racial profiling surveillance activities by police, inadequate state funding for court-appointed attorneys, credibility problems with disciplinary system relating to judicial or prosecutorial misconduct, sentencing disparities by race and gender, and restoration of civil rights for convicted felons discharged from the criminal justice system.
